Bin it movie

This term Room 14 made amazing animations about why we need to put our rubbish in the bin. This is Angelica's Movie. We love the way she has used detail in her pictures and made a thoughtful voice over to explain her thinking. Ka Pai Angelica!

  1. Kia ora Angelica,
WOW, I am so impressed with your animation. You are an incredible artist and have used fantastic colour and detail in your pictures.! I love that you have shared your story through a voiceover. You are so right, a clean school to play in is so important. When I come to visit Pt England School I do notice that your playground looks clean and tidy. Good on you for encouraging everyone to pick up rubbish. I am going to share your animation with other teachers and children so they can learn from you too. I know they will be impressed with your creativity too. Thanks for sharing.

  2. What an important message and a super animation Room 14. You have used Hyperstudio so well to get this message across. I love it when people take care of our creek and our river.

  3. HI Angelica
Tania shared your blog with us. I am so impressed with your animation, and how you are able to explain clearly what you animation is about. You are really artistic. I am going to share your blog with my Year 2 and 3 class, because we are also focussing on demonstrating Aroha and keeping our environment clean. Thank you for sharing your awesome work.
    Kind Regards

  4. HI Angelica
We watched your video about keeping our environment clean. This is what my children said, "you are good at explaining your learning, how did you do it?"
    Have a nice day!

  5. Hi Lockie here and I am from Room 4.
I really like the way that you made it so no one litters anymore, just pick up your rubbish.
Maybe next time maybe pick up your voice near the actual video.
    Was it stop-motion?
Each year we pick up rubbish from the beach because our school is near the sea and the rubbish gets close to school.
    Byeeee! :p
