This year has been anything but normal, with covid being around team 3 has been learning from home A lot. 

We hope this movie will remind you that lockdown is not all bad and that you, like us, can keep smiling.

A Hero Lies in You

This year we have seen the heroes come out in force. Everyone has been doing their bit to help each other as we go through the strange year that is 2020. This year rooms 21, 22 and 23 wanted to show that when we feel down, we just need to remember who we are, what we love and know that, We Are All Heroes!

This movie is about us but also about you. Yes You!

Keep Being Cybersmart

This year Rooms 19 and 20 created our Film Festival movie as a fun way of showing how we are cybersmart in our classroom every single day.

Victoria: Kia Ora, I am Victoria

Both: We are year 3s students from Pt England School.
Blessing: Hey Victoria remember that time you got stuck in that game?
Victoria: Yes, We had to be Cybersmart to get out.
Blessing: Being Cybersmart is soooo important.
Victoria: Yes it is!

The Magic

This year the year 3 children have had a wonderful year. They have noticed that there is something special around us and this is our movie trying to find out what it is.

Many thanks to Room 16, Room 4 and The wonderful year 4 girls who guest starred in our movie this year.

Film Festival

Yesterday we went to the 10th Annual Manaiakalani Film Festival. It was a wonderful experience and the Room 14 really enjoyed the trip. We left school a little after 10.30 and got to see movies from Pt England School and Tamaki Primary. It was fantastic watching all the children on the big screen.

The Real Story of Peter Pan

This Movie was created as a result of our learning about planet earth and beyond. As part of this topic we focused on how the sun impacted on us. As a result we talked a lot about shadows and how they are made. We decided to take the story of Peter Pan and put a Pt England Twist on it.

I came up with and outline for the story and Kiarah and Angelica wrote the script. The rest of the class performed in the movie. Sadly Lorenzo was away during our filming and Israel choose to take a behind the scenes role however we know that they had a impact on the overall movie.

I am so proud of the Room 14 learners and the effort they put it. A big ups to Jermain our wonderful shadow although you may not see his face we feel his presence in the movie. We hope you enjoyed our movie we certainly enjoyed making it!

Go for Gold

In Term three the Pavilion children learnt about the Olympics. We enjoyed learning about sport and it got us thinking about working hard so one day we can go for gold at the Olympics.

Our Presented introduced the movie like this:
