Cayden and Toran

 This week in Code Club we learned about using if/then Statements. Cayden and Toran used this to get Codey Rocky to make faces and play sounds when shown colours. 

Hunter

During Code club this week we learned about if/then statements. We had to create a code for our Robot that these these Statements. Hunter created a code that made Codey Rocky move forwards when he pressed the space key on his Chromebook. 

Fillipo and Masen

During Code club this week we learned about if/then statements. We had to create a code for our Robot that these these Statements. Fillipo and Masen created a code that helped their robot to avoid objects.

 Room 19 have been learning about the moon as part of our unit called watch this space. 

Yummy Lunchs

 This week was the first week of the lunches in schools program at Pt England School. We were so lucky to receive a healthy lunch each day to fill our tummies. 

We are now trying all kinds of new foods and it is always exciting to open the box and see what lunch is inside.

Tiaki taonga award

This year we have a school wide value of Cherish our treasures or Tiaki Taonga. This value is all about caring for the thing, people and opportunities around us. Team 3 have started to give out a weekly award to students who show this value in everything they do. 

It is so wonderful to see children showing respect, care and kindness in everything they do.
